About

My journey into design started with graphic design.

I have always had a passion for being creative and solving problems and so I decided to study and become a graphic designer. Shortly after completing my graphic design studies I became a freelancer.

Instead of going through third party services I decided to create my own website and offer my services online, which meant I needed to learn some web design technologies.

And so I started learning how to create a website, or at least the essentials of website design.

Once I felt confident enough I started creating my own site and launched it.

I had a successful period freelancing full-time as a graphic designer through my website and along with my freelancing services, I was also freelancing for a Canadian company called SiteSell.

During this time, I felt I needed more experience as a graphic designer and freelanced part-time while being employed full time at a local company.

After some time and seeing the growth of the web, I wanted to learn more about web design and development.

So I started learning more and more.

The more I learned, the more passionate I became and eventually decided to do the switch from graphic design to web design.

Since then, I have carried on learning about modern and emerging web technologies such as React as well as Amazon Web Services.

I still freelance part-time and am contracting remotely as a frontend developer for a German digital agency.

When I’m not designing and developing, I enjoy exploring new places and capturing moments with my camera.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my journey into web design and please feel free to contact me or connect with me on any of my social networks.
